Are you gonna run and hide?
I know that confrontations bring you down
I know that giving up just ain't your style
Sometimes you're gonna find that the sun don't always wanna shine
when you're ready to see the light...you might find that it's too damn bright
Don't let it change the fact that it's time for a change
Life goes on no matter how strange
It all appears to be

It's never easy even when you're doing well
No one knows the hell of being inside your fears

On tears that never seem to fall even when you want them all
to wash away the stains left by all those years of pain

and all these things you hid inside to keep you from dying
have since been stolen, broken or misplaced

I ‘secretly’ made a shrine for you in my closet
You have made the mistake of taking too long to come and visit
and I spent all night waiting for you to arrive
But time is NOT ON YOUR SIDE!!!!
Well I finally found the payoff to all my troubles
You'll be here with me until the end of time
But I, I made the mistake of telling the world about us

The day is quite connected, no body's on vacation

What we saw on the camera lens –
"We shot the child out of self defense,
and we expect no action in return”
The world is out of order. The tongues are plastered shut
I wanna say what I thinking, people tell me "You'd rather not;
you'll only get yourself to burn"

I talk of my own views and people think I'm on a dose
My friends say I'm crazy and shout it out at my face

I can't play and I can't sing. I wish I'd soon get back to the place where I been

It's been happening too often these days...there's still nothing to do in spite of so many ways
